Royal commission slams governments for ‘shocking’ life endured by young in aged care

Senior counsel assisting the commission Peter Rozen QC said it was not appropriate to deliver care services to younger people with a disability in aged care facilities.

Rozen blamed the federal, state and territory governments for failing to adequately recognise the wishes and needs of younger Australians requiring care.
