Highlighting our achievements

The 2022/23 Annual Report was launched on 2 November at the Annual Public Forum. The report shares highlights of the work we are doing to resolve the issue of younger people in aged care. Using the Summer Foundation strategic priorities to structure the report, it details the achievements and work in progress from the Research team, the Housing Hub, UpSkill and the Co-design team.

You’ll also read about what we are doing in the service delivery and innovation space, along with how we are working to create systems change to ensure people with disability have access to the support required to be in control of where, how and with whom they live.

The report profiles a number of people with lived experience that we have worked with throughout the year. They have generously shared their stories, which provide a glimpse into the experiences of being a young person in aged care, or at risk of going into aged care.
