I feel my strengths lie more in the area of working with people with physical disabilities, as well as moderate to severe ID. • Equipment prescriptions is certainly something I am proficient with, and minor modifications. • Completing functional capacity assessment reports for NDIA participants. • NSW Location: Maitland/Kurri Kurri/Cessnock areas.• I work part time, Tuesday & Wednesday, hours are 9.30am to 4pm (which I may not suit everyone, apologies!) but I’m pretty organised.

A little bit more about me:
I am a passionate OT, who strives very hard to be as client-centred as possible in my assessment and interventions/therapy. I really enjoy getting to know my clients, and understanding what is important to them, and their loved ones. I currently only work part time, so I know this won’t suit everyone. I live in Maitland (regional area) NSW, and love being part of this big-country town community.
My professional values are:
I’m very focussed on building collaborative partnerships, and strive to make systems work for my clients. I work for myself so I can ensure that I can live up to my own high standards of service provision, and I am entirely responsible for everything I do. I like the personal connection I have with my clients, and it is really important to me to build good rapport and collaborative relationships. I have a long history of working with people with different abilities, and across a variety of settings. I prefer to work in the community in people’s natural environments.
