More information about my experience:
I have been working as an Occupational Therapist for the past 27 years. I have worked across a wide number of areas within the health care and disability sectors, but predominantly in recent years within the area of adult acquired brain injury (ABI), spinal cord injury (SCI), stroke, chronic neurological conditions, multi-trauma and community rehabilitation. I have a high level of technical skill in all areas of occupational therapy practice including individual assessment and intervention, the development of attendant care programs, the prescription and implementation of assistive technology, home modifications and supporting clients to transition to and from home into transitional and permanent supported accommodation. I strive at all times to ensure a consistent multi-disciplinary approach and I have excellent communications skills. I adopt a strong orientation towards excellence and the achievement of client outcomes with an authentic, effective and professional style.

On a personal level, I am the mother of three teenagers and am involved in a wide range of community activities.
I have ageing parents with physical conditions requiring significant support.
I love to go for long walks with my dog and I love reading and watching movies.
