More information about my experience:

I have worked in the sector for over 20 years and have a strong passion for seeing people with disabilities add valued and empowerment into there lives . Based on my achievements in helping people with disability to secure housing in the rental accommodation market. I have been a shinning example of how one person can make such a tremendous difference to the quality life of many different people. Through my actions I have supported 23 people to find suitable accommodation that meets their needs and exceeds their expectations, in an extremely short period of time. I have saved people at risk of homelessness and placed them into environments where they have been able to prosper and grow. Perhaps most importantly, I have opened an innovative new market that was previously felt to be unattainable by people with disability. I have broken down barriers resulting in people with disability being able to move into homes within the rental market.By treating people with empathy, thoughtfulness and respect, I have supported many people to live satisfying everyday lives.I have been nominated as a finalist for the Victorian Disability Awards 2021.
