More information about my experience:

I have been working in the community sector for close to 27 years. I helped people transition out of institutionalised care into group homes in the late 90’s. This is where I gained extensive knowledge and practical application of supporting people with a wide range of disabilities, mental health (mild to complex) and health challenges. This diverse range of experience came from working as a support worker, manager, trainer, project manager and now a director. I worked 17 years in group homes and understand all aspects of SIL’s, SDA and most of all understand the participants needs and supporting them in a way that is going to improve their quality of life.My greatest asset is my experience with complex case management and collaboration. I have worked with people experiencing homelessness, drug and alcohol, intellectual disabilities , dual diagnosis, MS, MND and both brain and spinal cord injury. I have been a support worker and know the practical support needs and but have the ability to case manager all aspects too. I have worked in a collaboration with allied health, housing, department of community and justice, NSW health and the aged care sector.

I am fierce about peoples rights and I view it as a privilege that they share their everyday concerns, desires and dreams in their heart.
