More information about my experience:

I am the founder of Ready OT. Since March 2020, my team and I have worked with participants in a variety of settings to assist them develop a support model that is conducive to a housing transition. I work collaboratively with the care team, family and individual to understand what their housing goals are, risks, supports needs and identify any opportunities to develop their capacity for greater independence. I, alongside my team complete a comprehensive functional assessment, utilising a both standardised assessment tools and informal interview with with relevant parties. We work with the participant and their family to understand their unique housing history, risks and housing preferences to identify what is important to them, and their life goals. I have built relationships with a variety of housing organisations to provide participants with suitable housing options. Housing applications are completed and quotes sourced, alongside relevant OT reports which are taken to NDIS plan reviews for approval.

I am a registered Occupational Therapist with AHPRA and inaugural member of Occupational Therapy Australia. I have over 8 years experience in the field of Occupational Therapy working across various roles in community settings and insurance schemes, specifically with those who experience mental illness and psychosocial disability.
