A little bit more about me:
Prior to becoming a practicing Occupational Therapist in 2015, I taught English as a second language in South Korea and Japan. While finishing my Occupational Therapy degree in Australia, I completed an honours research thesis on the occupational issues related to long-term homelessness. I am a passionate supporter of the philosophy that housing is basic human right. I currently work as a community-based Occupational Therapist in neuro-rehabilitation. I love working in my role because I believe that all members of our society deserve every opportunity to participate in activities that are meaningful to them, and that disability should not be a barrier to participation. This includes living in an accessible environment, whether that is someone’s home or the neighbourhood they live in. In addition to my current role, I have worked at the Epilepsy Foundation and the Centre for Developmental Disability Health Victoria. I have also worked as a Disability Support Worker.
My professional values are:
My core values are honesty, reliability, collaboration, and integrity.
