I am a practicing Occupational Therapist with full registration. I have more than 12 years’ experience as an Occupational Therapist and specialise in working with community-dwelling adults with long-term disabilities, neurological and degenerative conditions.I have spent time working as an Occupational Therapist in the Greater Geelong region, Melbourne and Vancouver, Canada in both the public and private healthcare systems. I work with NDIS clients via Telehealth (using phone or video calls) and provide Occupational Therapy services across Australia. My current role is highly focused on supporting people with disabilities to maximise their independence with daily activities and community engagement. I am passionate about working with clients to achieve their personal goals and help them to optimise their engagement in activities that they find meaningful. I am interested and passionate about working with clients on cognitive and learning strategies, community retraining, equipment and home modifications. I am competent and have experience supporting NDIS participants to achieve their housing goals including assistance with SDA and SIL applications.

A little bit more about me:

I am an Occupational Therapist and run my own private practice – Occupational Therapy and Me, Australia. I grew up mostly in Melbourne however spent several of my primary school years in regional Western Australia. I now live with my young family in New Zealand. In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my family and friends exploring the outdoors. You will often find me with my husband and daughter at our local beach. I also love spending time drinking coffee (daily), reading, watching movies, hiking or snowboarding in the winter. My favourite hobby is swimming and I am a fully qualified swimming instructor.
