As part of the Housing Hub Lived Experience Team Tom Butler co-facilitates housing workshops for people interested in specialist disability accommodation (SDA).
Tom was attending the Australian Defence Force Academy in the Air Force before becoming a quadriplegic in a diving accident. As well as his volunteer work for local sporting organisations, Tom designed and built his own SDA home. It was this lived experience and expertise that led to his role with the Summer Foundation.
