1. Get an NDIS plan or change your plan
An allied health worker (e.g. a social worker or OT) can help you get an NDIS plan. If you have an NDIS plan, it may need changes. Your support coordinator can help you. You can ask for a face-to-face meeting with an NDIA planner. They will write down your needs and your goals.
2. Work out your housing and support needs
You need to work out where to live. You need to work out who you want to live with. Your support coordinator or an allied health worker (e.g. a social worker or OT) can help you. Then they can help you plan your move. Your support coordinator will help you choose people to work with you on your goals.
3. Work out if the NDIS will pay for your housing
Your support coordinator will help you look for different types of housing. They will help you work out if NDIS will pay for your housing. They will tell the NDIA about your housing needs.
