About the role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Interim Chief Financial Officer to lead our organisation’s finance direction and function for a period of 9 months. This part time fixed term role would be ideal for someone from the Corporate Sector looking to transition to the For Purpose Sector. Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer and as a member of the Executive, the CFO will work in collaboration with the Executive, internal stakeholders and Directors across the organisation to deliver excellence in operational and strategic financial management.

About you

Skills & experience

  • A track record of strategically partnering at the Executive and Board level
  • Ability to partner with teams to support the development of their financial acumen and achievement of their business goals
  • Track record of leading the organisational budget and reforecast processes including alignment to the organisational strategic plan
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and implement robust financial and risk management processes.
  • Experience driving projects and process and system improvements
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively liaise with external and internal stakeholders at all levels
  • Adaptable to changing environments
  • Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills

Other Qualifications / Professional Training:

Professional CPA/CA qualified accountant with 5+ years’ experience in a CFO or Executive level financial leadership role.

Digital Marketing Coordinator

We have an exciting opportunity for a creative and motivated Digital Marketing Coordinator to join our Housing Hub Engagement Team.

Reporting to the Marketing & Communications Team Lead, this role will be responsible for collaborating with the team to implement a Digital Marketing Strategy driving our online presence through social media channels, eDMs, our website and multi-channel campaigns. You are a resilient team player who enjoys working alongside a high performing, passionate crew, putting team success first.

About you

Your experience in taking a brief to produce creative solutions and innovative approaches will set you up for success in this role. You understand the importance of knowing and adapting your approach to both customers and internal stakeholders alike. 

Photoshop and engaging snappy copy are your go-to, with a reputation for insightful ideas and on brand creatives within a deadline. 

You can seamlessly switch between writing copy for socials, compiling recipients for eDMs, updating websites and communicating with stakeholders. Your team approach is to jump in and get things done. We have each other’s backs, all truly care about what we are achieving and know it takes a village.

We have an exciting opportunity for a dynamic, values-driven and customer-centric professional to lead the Engagement team in the Housing Hub Social Enterprise. This role leads and guides an experienced team, who undertakes community engagement and marketing activities to engage with our customers and grow users of housinghub.org.au.

Our ideal candidate will be a highly organised and positive leader with a strong track record of managing teams to achieve business outcomes. You will have exceptional relationship and communication skills, alongside your systematic approach to project management. You build rapport and trust with your team as you seamlessly switch between working at both the operational and strategic level. This is a key role within a passionate team, very dedicated to what we do.

  • At least five years experience in leading teams to deliver their work in a functional team
  • Experience coaching and developing staff to meet their targets
  • Experience in managing the delivery of an internal facing function
  • Proven experience in planning and implementation of online or offline marketing and communications engagement activity to support business objectives
  • A proactive approach to problem-solve and innovate
  • A customer-centric approach – valuing lived experience and bringing this to the work
  • Knowledge of Salesforce is a plus
