This UpSkill workshop, brought to you by the Summer Foundation, is designed to help you support people to live well in the community.
What makes a good life? When you ask most people this question, they say things like:
“Friends and family.”
“Doing a job I enjoy.”
“Opportunity to learn and try out new things.”
“Sense of belonging and having a role in the community.”
”Having a nice home where I feel safe and comfortable.”
However, we know that for various reasons there are often major barriers to people with disability living a good life.
How can we assist people to live happier, more fulfilling lives?
