JULY 6 2021

This event is for support coordinators and NDIS allied health professionals: Learn about how to translate the principles of human rights, equality and inclusion into practical steps.

This UpSkill workshop, brought to you by the Summer Foundation, is designed to help you support people to live well in the community.

What makes a good life? When you ask most people this question, they say things like:

  • “Friends and family.”
  • “Doing a job I enjoy.”
  • “Opportunity to learn and try out new things.”
  • “Sense of belonging and having a role in the community.”
  • ”Having a nice home where I feel safe and comfortable.”

However, we know that for various reasons there are often major barriers to people with disability living a good life.

How can we assist people to live happier, more fulfilling lives?
