How to Write an NDIS Housing Plan

Confused about Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA)?

The City of Darebin is holding a FREE professional development workshop for allied health professionals and support co-ordinators run by The Summer Foundation. Participants will understand how to write a quality housing plan and to test an NDIS participant’s eligibility for SDA.

Workshop Content

Penny Paul will provide a brief introduction to the SDA policy, context, objectives and Rules. Penny will introduce the Summer Foundation’s NDIS housing resources before working through the development of a successful housing plan and the occupational therapy report it relied on. Penny can answer questions about real-life case scenarios.

Please note, this workshop is for allied health professionals and support coordinators who may develop housing plans only. A separate workshop, “The NDIS and Housing, Understanding your Options” for people with disability, their supporters and interested disability/community sector professionals will be held on Wednesday 26th June.
